PCMC: 941 New COVID Cases, 820 discharged today

Pimpri, 05 September 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 941 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 820 people got discharged from hospitals while 14 people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 54,230 out of which 45,496 have recovered while 923 have died. 6101 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 884 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 208 have died and 2388 have been cured.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 4,023,179 across the country. Out of this, 3,107,223 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 69,561 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 846,395 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
