Khadki Railway Terminal Fully Operational; Records 4.5 Lakh Footfall and Rs 2.2 Crore Revenue in 90 Days

Pune, 25th November 2025: The Khadki Satellite Terminal has become fully operational, reporting significant passenger traffic and revenue growth over the past three months, according to data shared by the Pune Division. The terminal recorded more than 4.5 lakh footfall and generated over ₹2.2 crore in revenue in the last 90 days.
In September–October 2025, the terminal handled an average daily footfall of 4,745 passengers and achieved daily average revenue of ₹2.56 lakh.
As per the division’s inward and outward movement data, the terminal saw over 3 lakh inward passengers, more than 1.4 lakh outward passengers, and over 3,000 platform users during this period.
Completed Works at Khadki Terminal
The Pune Division has completed multiple infrastructure upgrades to enhance capacity and passenger facilities. Key works include:
Structural and Utility Works
1. Platform No. 3 raising and surfacing (approx. 730 metres)
2. Installation of cable ducts at Platforms 3 and 4
3. Dismantling of the former goods shed at Platform 4
4. Construction of a 2.5 lakh-litre underground tank in the railway colony
5. Laying of RBPC pipelines covering 550 metres at Platforms 3 and 4
Passenger Amenities and Access Infrastructure
1. COP (Covered Platform) at Platform 3 — 108 metres
2. COP at Platform 4 — 304 metres
3. Water booths at Platforms 3 and 4
4. Booking office
5. Entry–exit gates
6. Cabway at Platform 4
7. Parking area of 2,035 sq. m at the PA end
8. Earthwork for parking area at the PA end (up side)
9. Earthwork for sandhump at the PA end (down side)
10. Platform 4 surfacing
11. Boundary wall construction
12. Toilet
DCM and PRO Hemant Kumar Behera said, “Khadki Satellite Terminal is progressing steadily with a clear focus on passenger-centric development.
