Pune, 28th December 2023: In a concerted effort to bring government schemes closer to the people, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has proven to be a resounding success in the Pune Municipal Corporation area. Utilizing eye-catching LED vehicles, citizens are being informed about various Central Government schemes, and the tangible benefits of these initiatives are being highlighted.

The yatra has covered key areas within Pune City, including Hirabagh SRA, Shukwar Peth, Dnyanprabodhani Chowk, Phadke Houd, Saattoti Chowk, Shubhanshah Dargah, Sahakar Mandal Ganesh Peth, Meera Market, Ghorpadi Peth, Shitladevi Chowk, Fire Brigade Office, Bhawani Peth, Ramoshi Gate, SPM School, Senadatta Police Chowky, Sant Gadge Maharaj Colony, Koregaon Park, and Burning Ghat Colony. The response from citizens has been overwhelmingly positive.

As part of the initiative, stalls showcasing various Central Government schemes have been set up during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, accompanied by informative booklets distributed among the attendees. The diverse participation of senior citizens, women, transgenders, and students underscores the inclusive nature of the yatra.

A significant aspect of the yatra is the health camp, where needy citizens undergo health check-ups, particularly focusing on tuberculosis and sickle cell problems. Guidance regarding further treatment is also provided to those in need.

– Chaman Shah Chowk at 3 pm

– 31st December:
– Guru Nanaknagar at 10.30 am
– Bhimale Complex at 3 pm
