KPMG in India awarded ‘Best Background Screening Service provider’ in Asia

New Delhi, 26 October 2016: KPMG in India’s Verifications practice has been awarded the ‘Best Background Screening Service Provider’, in Asia, by the World HRD Congress at the recent Asian HR Leadership Excellence Awards, held in Dubai on 5 October 2016. Nominated for the first time, KPMG in India won this prestigious award despite stiff competition from global players.

KPMG in India has invested in building and developing a robust Background Screening or Verification Services practice in India which currently comprises of around 450 professionals. The operations are centralised at a fully-fledged, well-equipped ISO 27001 certified centre in Pune with teams located across Bengaluru, NCR, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad. The centre is equipped to conduct verifications across 190 countries; moreover, KPMG in India’s deep accent on compliance and risk mitigation adds depth to the verification process and results in a differentiated value proposition.
