Krish, Arnav, Maya, Laxmisiri, Amodini in semifinals at Gadre Marine MSLTA – ITF Grade 3 Junior Tennis Championship

Pune, 7th December 2023: Indian Players Krishna Tyagi , Arnav Paparkar , Maya Rajeshwaran and Laxmisiri Dandu scored contrasting wins to enter the semifinals in the boys and the girls events at the Gadre Marine MSLTA – ITF Junior Grade 3 U18 tennis Championships for the M.V. Deo Trophy organized by Deccan Gymkhana Under the auspices of ITF, Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association and Pune Metropolitan District Tennis Association to be played at the Deccan Gymkhana Tennis Courts

Local Wildcard Arnav Paparkar outclassed fourth seeded Kazuma Kimura of Japan 6-1 6-1 to enter the boys semifinals where he will take on second seeded Kriish Tyagi who was made to sweat by unseeded Bushan Haobam before winning 6-2 2-6 6-2

Moise Kouame of France stopped higher seed Aarjun Pandit 6-4 6-4 in the other semifinal he will take on giant killer Japanese Hiremath Koyama who halted the good run of Kandhavel Mahalingam Akilandeshwari 6-1 7-5

In the girls Indians top seeded Maya Rajeshwaran and Laxmisiri Dandu in the semifinal . Kazakh player Ariana Gogulina was the lone foreigner to make it to the semifinal stage winning against Harshini N Nagaraj 3-6 6-0 6-0.
