Lavani Festival To Be Organised In Gulf Countries For First Time
Mumbai, 9th December 2022: To introduce the new Marathi generation settled in the Gulf countries to the glorious culture and folk art of Maharashtra, Inspire Events, United Arab Emirates (UAE), which has so far conducted many social events, has organized Lavani Mahotsav for the first time in the Gulf countries this year in Dubai on Sunday (December 11).
In a press conference, Lavani empress Surekha Punekar informed that this special festival has been organised by Inspire Events to bring the folk art, culture, and beauty of Maharashtra to Marathi and international audiences.
Seeing the love and respect of Marathi congregations in the Gulf for their culture, all the local artists will get special guidance from Surekha Punekar during this program. In the Lavani festival, local artists from UAE will perform cultural dance forms like Lavani and Saval-Jawab at an international level.
Sagar Jadhav (SJ Live) from Dubai is going to deliver this program to the online audience of the world through Facebook Live. Organiser Chandrashekhar Jadhav and all his colleagues will work tirelessly for the successful organisation of the above event and will raise the standard at the international level by organising a grand and exemplary International Festival.
