Life of governor Ram Naik is a guiding force for students – CM Fadnavis

Mumbai, July 6, 2019 :  “Charaiveti charaiveti’ is not only the name of a book but it is the secret of disciplined and dedicated life of governor Ram Naik” asserted Chief Minister Mr Devendra Fadnavis today in Guwahati (Assam).

 

          He was speaking on the occasion of release of book ‘Charaiveti Charaiveti’ in Assamese language written by Governor of Uttar Pradesh Ram Naik. He urged the students to experience the life of a common man from ‘garage to the post of governor’ through this book. Governor of Assam and Mizoram Dr Jagdish Mukhi, governor of Meghalaya Tathagata Roy, governor of Arunachal Pradesh Dr BD Mishra, governor of Sikkim Ganga Prasad and Chief Minister of Assam Sarvanand Sonowal were present on the occasion.

 

 At the beginning, chief minister paid tribute to the founder of Jan Sangh Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his birth anniversary. His Assamese counterpart Sonowal welcomed Mr Fadnavis with Assam tradition. Speaking further, Mr Fadnavis said that the book written by Mr Ram Naik ‘Charaiveti Charaiveti is also available in Braille Script and had been translated in 11 languages. He expressed happiness on the popularity of the book. He further said that Mr Naik had been going ahead in his life according to the Mantra of Charaiveti charaiveti and his life is a story full of struggle. He said that the book is evident of the example of a common man who has reached the post of governor from a garage where he used to stay. He said that Mr Naik worked for the depressed and deprived class of the society adding that even today he is attached to them and working with devotion for the deprived community. He appealed the students to read the book.
