Light Showers Reported in Parts of Pune; Temperature Drop Expected After January 19

Pune, 13th January 2026: Several parts of Pune witnessed light rainfall on Tuesday, with Hadapsar, Market Yard, and Nanded City recording brief showers. Very light rain was also reported from Ambegaon, Dhayari, and Kondhwa, according to local weather observations.

Meteorological officials said the sudden spell of rain and cloud cover over Pune and adjoining areas was due to moisture incursion from the Bay of Bengal, which has influenced weather conditions across parts of Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a drop in minimum temperatures in Pune from January 19–20. As per the IMD-GFS outlook, night temperatures are expected to remain above normal over the next two days, before cooler conditions set in thereafter.
