Lila Poonawalla Foundation Scholarship – Opportunity to make your dreams come true
5th of August 2016: The Lila Poonawalla Foundation has announced its Annual UG-PG Scholarship. Started in the year 1996, the Foundation aims to support meritorious girls belonging to the lower income section of the society.
Over the course of its 20 year journey, the Foundation has awarded 8325 scholarships to approximately 4135 young ladies.
Now in its 21st year, the Foundation hopes to empower and educate more and more young girls helping them turn their dreams into reality.
Applications are invited from the candidates who are from Pune District and wish to pursue Post-Graduate studies in any discipline and candidates who wish to pursue Graduate studies in any of the following discipline in Pune District. (Engineering in all streams (BE., Diploma, 2nd Yr Engg. After Diploma), Science, Pharmacy and Nursing)
Only those candidates who are in their first academic year in 2016-2017 are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The scholarship is awarded for the entire period of the course, subject to performance. In addition to the scholarship, various training programs are conducted to develop the girls into confident young women.
