Lonavla: Liquor Stock Worth Rs 68,000 Seized From Khandala
Lonavla, 30th December 2022: The Lonavla city police took action against a person who was illegally stocking local and foreign liquor and selling it at Khandala Shivaji Peth around 1.00 am on Friday (December 30) and confiscated the goods worth Rs 68,220 from him.
Mayur Abnave, a police constable of Lonavla city, who is assigned to Khandala police chowky, has filed a complaint in this case and this action has been taken against Ajay Ramchandra Jambhulkar (56), a resident of Shivaji Peth Khandala.
52 types of domestic and foreign liquor bottles have been seized from Jambhulkar. Lonavla city police said that the price of all of them is Rs 68,220. A case has been registered in the matter and Sub-Inspector Mujawar is conducting a further investigation under the guidance of Police Inspector Sitaram Dubal of Lonavla City.
