Pune, 25th May 2023: In a major breakthrough, the Anti-Narcotics Squad 1 of Pune City Police has uncovered a thriving narcotics network involving the use of Dunzo Online Delivery app to distribute LSD. Shockingly, highly-educated youth have been found selling these illegal substances.
The operation unfolded on 23rd May when Policeman Vishal Shinde, during a routine patrol, received tip-off that LSD was being supplied through Dunzo Online Delivery in Kothrud and other areas. Acting swiftly, the police detained Rohan Deepak Gavai (24), a resident of Kothrud, and seized valuables worth Rs 1.5 lakh from him. Notably, Rs 90,000 worth of 30mg LSD and other materials were confiscated during the arrest. Gavai was not acting alone, prompting the registration of a case under the NDPS Act against multiple accomplices.
