Jalna, 19th March 2022: Union Minister of State Raosaheb Danve on Friday claimed dissatisfaction among the MLAs of the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance in Maharashtra. He said that at least 25 disgruntled MLAs of the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance in Maharashtra are in touch with the BJP.

Rejecting the Shiv Sena’s claims, he also said that the former ally was not offered the chief minister’s post by the BJP in the 2019 seat-sharing talks, news agency PTI reported.

Raosaheb Danve told reporters in Jalna that at least 25 MLAs of the ruling MVA are in touch with us.

He said that all these 25 MLAs are unhappy with the current Mahavikas Aghadi alliance. However, he did not reveal the names of the MLAs. Also targeting Shiv Sena, the BJP leader alleged that it has deviated from the Hindutva ideology. Shiv Sena got votes in the 2019 elections because of PM Modi but they stabbed the BJP in the back.

The Union Minister said that this is not Balasaheb Thackeray’s Shiv Sena but Uddhav Thackeray and Abdul Sattar’s army. Sattar is a minister in the state government.

Danve said that in the year 2019, when there was a discussion in Matoshree between BJP leaders (Amit Shah, Devendra Fadnavis, Ashish Shelar) and Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray, I was present there. There was no discussion regarding the post of Chief Minister in this meeting. Along with this, he denied the claim of Shiv Sena that it was agreed to change the post of CM after a stipulated interval.
