Maharashtra: 442 Ambulances Distributed To Government Hospitals

Pune, 28th May 2021: In order to strengthen the public health system in the state, 442 ambulances were distributed to the government hospitals in the state by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar at Pune Divisional Commissioner’s Office.

On this occasion, Health Minister Rajesh Tope, Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh, Deputy Director (Health Services) Dr Milind More, District Surgeon Dr Ashok Nandapurkar, District Health Officer Dr Bhagwan Pawar and other health department officials were present.

The funds were received as announced by Deputy Chief Minister Pawar in the budget. 442 new ambulances were distributed from that fund. Out of 442 ambulances, 12 have been distributed for Pune district, 13 for Satara, 9 for Solapur, 17 for Kolhapur and 9 for Sangli.

Oxygen generation plant  

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar inaugurated 300 Oxygen Concentrators and four Oxygen Generation Plants provided by Tata Company at the Divisional Commissioner’s Office.
