Maharashtra: 5368 fresh COVID patients, 204 deaths today
Mumbai, July 6, 2020: A total of 3522 patients were discharged while 5368 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 204 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 4.26%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 2,11,987 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
According to the health department, 1,15,262 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 4.26%. As of today, there are 87,681 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 54.37% while the fatality rate in the state is 4.26%. Currently, 6,15,265 people are in home quarantine and 46,355 people are in institutional quarantine.
Out of 11,35,447 laboratory samples, 2,11,987 have been tested positive (18.67%) for COVID-19 until today.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 697,513 across the country. Out of this, 424,432 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 19,693 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 253,287 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
