Maharashtra: 55 policemen found COVID positive in last 24 hours, tally reaches 4,103 Policemen

Mumbai, June 22, 2020: In the last 24 hours, 55 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by Maharashtra Police and one policeman has died. The total number of corona infected in Maharashtra Police has now increased to 4,103. Till now a total of 48 police personnel including two officers have died, while there are 1016 personnel still under treatment.

Across Maharashtra, there were 3870 new COVID19 cases yesterday taking the total number of cases to 132,075. Also, 101 people died while 1591 got discharged from hospitals after being cured. There are still 60,147 active cases. The total death toll stands at 6170, while 65,744 patients have been discharged till date, according to the Maharashtra Health Department.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has reached 4, 25,228. Out of this, there are 1, 74,387 active cases, so far 2, 37,196 people have become healthy and have been discharged, while a total of 13,699 people have died.

According to the Union Health Ministry, during the last 24 hours, 14,821 new cases of Coronavirus have been reported, while 445 people have died.
