Maharashtra: 7827 fresh COVID patients, 173 deaths today

Mumbai, July 12, 2020: A total of 3340 patients were discharged while 7827 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 173 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 4.04%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 2,54,427 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 140,325 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 4.04%. As of today, there are 1,03,516 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 55.15% while the fatality rate in the state is 4.04%. Currently, 6,86,150 people are in home quarantine and 47,801 people are in institutional quarantine.

Out of 13,17,895 laboratory samples, 2,54,427 have been tested positive (19.3%) for COVID-19 until today

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 8,49,553 across the country. Out of this, 5,34,620 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 22,674 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 292,258 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
