Maharashtra: 8641 fresh COVID patients, 266 deaths today
Mumbai, July 16, 2020: A total of 5527 patients were discharged while 8641 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 266 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.94%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 2,84,281 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
According to the health department, 1,58,140 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.94%. As of today, there are 1,14,648 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 55.63% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.94%. Currently, 7,10,394 people are in home quarantine and 42,833 people are in institutional quarantine.
Out of 14,46,386 laboratory samples, 2,84,281 have been tested positive (19.65%) for COVID-19 until today
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 968,876 across the country. Out of this, 612,814 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 24,915 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 331,146 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
