Maharashtra Announces Interim Results for 5th and 8th-Grade Scholarship Exams

Pune, 26th April 2025: The Maharashtra State Examination Council has announced the interim results for the 5th and 8th-grade scholarship exams. The pass percentage for the 5th-grade exam stood at 33.90%, while the 8th-grade exam recorded a pass rate of 19.30%.
Anuradha Oak, Commissioner of the State Examination Council, shared details about the results. The scholarship exams were conducted on February 9. A total of 546,874 students appeared for the 5th-grade exam, while 365,855 students appeared for the 8th-grade exam across Maharashtra.
Students who notice discrepancies in their interim results can apply for mark verification through their respective school logins by May 4. Corrections to personal details such as the student’s name, surname, father’s name, or mother’s name must also be requested online by the same deadline. Applications submitted through any other means or after the deadline will not be considered.
If schools need to update information such as the institution’s area (urban or rural) or course details, they must submit a request letter signed by the headmaster, along with complete information, via email. The results of the mark verification will be communicated to schools within 30 days through their official login.
After completing the verification process, the final results and merit lists will be published.
