Maharashtra: Bus Overturns Due to Biker’s Mistake, Passengers Have a Narrow Escape – Watch Video

Latur, 5th March 2025: A bus overturned while trying to avoid a motorcycle on the Nagpur-Ratnagiri National Highway in Latur district of Maharashtra. At least 38 people were injured in this accident.

According to police reports, the accident took place near Nandgaon Pati in Chakur Tehsil. Divisional Transport Officer Sandeep Padwal confirmed the incident, stating that among the injured, six passengers are in critical condition.

An official stated that the bus was travelling from Ahmedpur to Latur when the driver attempted to dodge a motorcycle, due to which he lost control, and the bus overturned.

Students were on their way to take an exam

Eyewitnesses claimed that the bus was moving at a high speed and went out of control before it could stop. Padwal stated that many passengers sustained serious injuries to their hands and legs and were rushed to the hospital via ambulances and private vehicles. There were 38 people on board the bus, including women and students who were on their way to take an exam.
