Maharashtra COVID-19 Recovery Cases Cross 10 Lakh Mark With Over 23,644 Cured in Past 24 Hour’s

Mumbai, Sep 27, 2020: A total of 23,644 patients were discharged and 20,419 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 4180 new cases were reported in Pune yesterday. Yesterday, 430 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 2.66%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 13,21,176 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.


According to the health department, 10,16,450 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2.66%. As of yesterday, there are 2,69,119 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 76.94% while the fatality rate in the state is 2.66%.


Currently, 19,45,758 people are in home quarantine and 30,571 people are in institutional quarantine. Out of 63,76,676 laboratory samples, 13,21,176 have been tested positive (20.74%) for COVID-19 until yesterday.



According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 5,903,932 across the country. Out of this, 4,849,584 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 93,379 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 960,969 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
