Maharashtra COVID Report: 22,543 New Cases, 416 Deaths Today

Mumbai, September 13, 2020: A total of 11,549 patients were discharged and 22,543 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 4424 new cases were reported in Pune District today. Today, 416 deaths reported in the state. The current count of patients in the state is 10,60,308, informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 7,40,061 patients have recovered while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2.79%. As of today, there are 2,90,344 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 69.8%.

Currently, 16,83,770 people are in home quarantine and 37,294 people are in institutional quarantine. Out of 52,53,676 laboratory samples, 10,60,308 have been tested positive (20.18%) for COVID-19 until today.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 47,54,356 across the country. Out of this, 37,02,595 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 78,586 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 973,175 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
