Pune, September 12, 2020: Three days left for the commencement of University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) examination held by the National Testing Agency (NTA), yet there is no notification about ‘admit cards’ on the website. While the countdown to the examination had begun soon after the NTA had declared the dates of examinations on August 20, applicants are still waiting for the release of admit cards.

The UGC-NET examination is scheduled to be held from September 16-18 and September 21-25. The NTA had notified in its circular that ‘the admit cards indicating roll number, centre, date, shift and timing of the examination will commence about 15 days before the date of the examination on the respective official websites of these examinations.’ However, no new notification is flashing on the ugcnet.nta.nic.in

“I have been checking the website regularly for the information about admit cards. We need to read the instructions for what is allowed (masks, gloves etc.) We need personal water bottles. Nonetheless, we need to know the centre location, accordingly, the required arrangements can be done. The exam will start after three days and we don’t have the admit cards yet,” said an applicant on the condition of anonymity.

“It is also confusing whether the exam will be held or postponed in the last minute under present circumstances,” added the applicant.
