Maharashtra Elections 2024: Shivajinagar Voter Slip Distribution Sees Significant Progress
Pune, 10th November 2024: The distribution of voter slips and identity cards in the Shivajinagar Assembly constituency is in full swing ahead of the Maharashtra Elections 2024. The campaign, which began on November 8, 2024, aims to ensure that all registered voters receive their slips in time for the upcoming polls.
With a total of 2,95,117 registered voters in the Shivajinagar constituency, authorities are working to expedite the distribution process. According to Electoral Returning Officer Dadasaheb Geete, the pace of distribution has been steadily increasing. On November 8, 5,111 voter slips were distributed, followed by 8,745 on November 9, and a significant rise to 15,000 on November 10.
Geete assured that the distribution of voting slips and identity cards, facilitated by Booth Level Officers (BLOs), is progressing efficiently and will be completed soon to ensure all voters are prepared for the election.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to ensure that all eligible citizens can exercise their right to vote in the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024.
