Maharashtra: Funding of Rs. 4 crores for rehabilitation of landslide affected villages in Patan Taluka

Mumbai, 5th August 2022: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde directed to make provision for Rs. 4 crores funding towards permanently sorting out the issue of rehabilitation of seven villages namely Ambeghar downstream, Ambeghar upstream, Dhokawale, Mirgaon, Humbarali, Shidrukwadi, Jitkarwadi (Jinti) in Patan Taluka of Satara district.

 

 

 

He was addressing a meeting held at Chief minister’s committee room at Mantralaya which discussed rehabilitation of villages after landslide due to excessive rains in Patan assembly constituency. MLA Shabhuraj Desai, additional chief secretary (Revenue) Nitin Karir, principal secretary to department of rehabilitation and relief Asimkumar Gupta, secretary to finance department A Shaila, Satara district collector Ruchesh Jaywanshi, sub-divisional officer of Patan Sunil Gade and other officials from concerned departments were present.

 

 

 

Chief Minister Shinde said that immediate action betaken to purchase private land so that rehabilitation of these seven villages including Ambeghar downstream, Ambeghar upstream, Dhokawale, Mirgaon, Humbarali, Shidrukwadi, Jitkarwadi (Jinti) which have faced landslide due to excessive rains can be undertaken. He asked to speed up construction of 550 houses and asked all the administrative apparatus to work with coordination and with speed to permanently sort out this issue of rehabilitation.
