Pune, 9th June 2023: The results of the Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET 2023), which was conducted for admission to engineering, agriculture, and pharmaceutical courses in the state, will be announced on June 12 at 11 am.
Starting from June, the centralized admission process for various professional and post-graduate degree courses for the academic year 2023-24 will be carried out online. In a first, candidates will receive information about the different stages of the admission process, instructions, and seat allocation through a mobile app.
Mahendra Varbhuvan, the Commissioner of Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), provided this information. Out of the 19 entrance examinations conducted under the State Common Entrance Examination, 16 results have already been announced. A total of 913,016 students appeared for these exams. The remaining two exams will be held in June and July. On June 19, the B.Sc. Nursing-CET 2023 Online Common Entrance Test will be conducted through CET Hall, marking its first-time implementation. A total of 31,380 students have applied for this exam, which will take place across 75 examination centers in the state.
The centralized access process will be implemented using an Application Programming Interface (API) system. This system will verify 12th-grade marks, Domicile and Nationality Certificates, Economically Weaker Section criteria, Caste Certificates, Caste Validity Certificates, Non-Criminal Certificates, and the seventh-twelfth transcript required for admission to agricultural education vocational courses. After completing the centralized admission process, the admission regulatory authority will communicate the approval to the institutes, colleges, and the students through their login IDs.
Varbhuvan also highlighted the implementation of regional dialogue programs to address any concerns or doubts that parents and candidates may have regarding the centralized admission process for various professional courses in the academic year 2023-24. These programs aim to resolve issues and provide clarity to ensure a smooth admission process for all parties involved.
