Maharashtra: MPSC Releases Examination Schedule; Read Here to Know More

Pune, January 11, 2021: Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has announced new dates of Pre-Examination-2020, Maharashtra Engineering Service Pre-Examination-2020, Maharashtra Secondary Service Non-Gazetted Group-B Joint Pre-Examination-2020.

The state service pre-examination 2020 will start from March 14, 2021, Maharashtra Engineering Service Pre-Examination-2020 on March 27, 2021, and Maharashtra Secondary Service Non-Gazetted Group-B Joint Pre-Examination-2020 April 11, 2021. Earlier these examinations were scheduled likewise, State Service Pre-Examination 2020 on October 11, 2020, Maharashtra Engineering Service Pre-Examination 2020 on November 1, 2020, and Maharashtra Secondary Service Non-Gazetted Group-B Joint Pre-Examination 2020 on November 22, 2020.

The date of the competitive examinations conducted by the MPSC in the year 2020 was announced in a press release dated September 7, 2020. Accordingly, it was proposed to conduct the State Service Pre-Examination 2020 on October 11, 2020. However, a timely decision was taken by the government to postpone the examination and the commission was informed about this by a letter dated October 10, 2020, from the General Administration Department of the Government.

Also, in view of the measures taken by the government from time to time regarding the prevalence of Covid-19, the commission will periodically review the examination schedule and publish the information on the commission’s website. This has been informed by the commission through a press release.
