Maharashtra: Now Startups Can Get Funds From District Planning Committee, Pune District Admin To Make Department-Wise Plan
Pune, 17th December 2022: Startups are now included in the district annual plan approved by the district planning committee. It has been approved by the Empowered Committee headed by the Chief Secretary of the Maharashtra State. Due to this, startups can now be started through the funds of innovative schemes being implemented through various departments of Zilla Parishad.
For this, the state government has now approved the inclusion of startups in the district annual action plan approved through the district planning committee. Due to this, funds will be available every year from the District Planning Committee to start startups.
The State Government earlier on August 27, 2014, announced the guidelines regarding the procedure of innovative schemes to be implemented under the District’s Annual Plan. Startups have now been included in this regulation. For this, an Empowered Committee was constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary of the State to re-determine the goals and strategies of the Department of Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation. This committee has taken a decision regarding startup inclusion in its meeting held on July 12, 2022.
This decision will be implemented from the next financial year (2023-24). According to this, the district administration said that department-wise provisions will be made for startups in the district annual action plan for the upcoming fiscal year of the Pune district.
