Maval, 25th May 2023: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Class 12 examination on Thursday, 25th May. In the Pune district, Indapur taluka achieved the highest overall result (95.30 percent), while Maval taluka recorded the lowest result (87.28 percent).

Among the major five centers in Maval taluka, including Shivaji Vidyalaya at Dehuroad, Talegaon Dabhade Indrayani College, Lonavla P. Mehta Junior College, Pavana Junior College in Pavananagar, and Pandit Nehru Vidyalaya in Kamshet, a total of 4,372 students appeared for the exam. Out of these, 3,816 students passed, while 556 students failed.

In Maval taluka, there were a total of 4,400 registered students, with 2,359 boys and 2,041 girls. Of these registered students, 4,372 students actually took the exam, comprising 2,343 boys and 2,029 girls.
Among the students who appeared for the examination, 1,946 boys and 1,870 girls successfully passed. The pass rate for boys was 83.05 percent, while girls achieved a pass rate of 92.16 percent. The overall pass percentage for Maval taluka is recorded at 87.28 percent. Unfortunately, Maval taluka’s performance stands as the lowest in the district.

These results showcase the varied outcomes among different talukas within the Pune district, with Indapur taluka leading with an exceptional overall result and Maval taluka struggling to attain higher success rates.
