Maharashtra: Special Drive For Orphan Children Till November 30 For Various Documents
Pune, November 18, 2020: The government has declared a special drive from November 15 to 30 to issue various certificates which are required by the orphan children to get admitted for higher education or while getting jobs.
The drive will ensure that the children from registered orphanages and institutes will get the certificates to get various social, financial and educational benefits. Majority of times, these children lack the caste certificate and thus they are deprived off various benefits and schemes.
According to the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, these children are given the orphan certificates so that they can avail various benefits. Thus, the drive will be part of the government resolution (GR) 2016 the certificates will be issued and during the special drive it will be given on a faster pace to these children.
