Pune, 23 March 2021: The Maharashtra state secondary and higher secondary education board (MSSHSEB) has issued a guideline for students attending the 10th and 12th board exams this year. The board has asked students to reach the exam centre earlier by one and a half hours to fulfill the Covid-19 safety procedures. The board has scheduled the exams for April and May 2021. The exam will be held offline, and arrangements are being made accordingly.

During the exam, the thermal screening will be done at each centre, and students are asked to reach their centre 30 minutes earlier than the actual exam time. The question paper will be distributed 10 minutes before the written exam so that students can read them properly. Seating arrangements are made according to the guideline provided by the board.

If a student is suffering from Covid-19 and has some health issues but still wants to appear for the exam, the concerned authorities will make separate arrangements. For those who could not appear for the exam due to health problems, the school and college authorities need to immediately convey the students’ information to the regional board office. A separate exam will be held for such candidates in June 2021.
