Maharashtra: State Board Exams For Class 10 And 12 To Be Held In April?

Pune, December 10, 2020: The year 2020 being the pandemic year, the class 10 and 12 examinations conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will be held in the last week of April or first week of May.

While replying to the questions Maharashtra state Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said, “Although the schools and colleges were closed for about 10 months, the students were connected through online education. Thus, we are contemplating to hold the class 10 and 12th examinations in the last week of April or first week of May 2021.”

Generally, the class 10th written examinations take place in March while the practical examination in February while for class 12th the written and practical examinations take place in February. She also said that they are also in talks with the schools, colleges and education experts regarding the conduct of examination and studies of the students of class nine to 12th.

“We will make a decision regarding the opening of the schools from class 1 to 8 after detailed discussions with the health department, school administration and local administration”, she informed.
