Solapur, 7th December 2021: Pooja Ingale Carved out a credible 6-4,7-5 win over Adithi Are to enter the second round of the singles at the Jamshri Solapur Open being played at the MSLTA Solapur District Complex

In other first-round matches sixth-seeded Vaidehi Chaudhari was stretched in the first set before overcoming Smriti Bhasin 7-5, 6-1

Top seeds In the doubles Sharmada Balu and Sowjanya Bavisetti easily disposed of wildcards Ishwari Matere and Sanya Yadav 6-3, 6-1 in the first round
