Maharashtra: University Exams To Be Held From June To July 15

Pune, 27th April 2022: Maharashtra Higher Education Minister Uday Samant on Tuesday said that offline exams will be conducted in the state from June 1 to July 15 and vice chancellors of all universities are firm on it.

Sawant held a meeting with the Vice Chancellors regarding the demand to conduct online examinations in the state. After the meeting, Sawant tweeted that the Vice Chancellors of various universities are strict about conducting offline examinations from June 1 to July 15.

He said that in view of the reduction in corona cases in the state, preparations are in full swing to conduct offline examinations in all universities.

He said that in the meeting, the Vice Chancellors have taken a tough stand on conducting offline examinations with a gap of two days between two papers from June 1 to July 15.

According to media reports, there is expected to be a gap of 2 days in all the papers. Apart from this, the students will be expected to write the theory answers in the summer exam in a proper manner.

The decision to conduct offline exams in Maharashtra universities comes at a time when students are constantly requesting to conduct online exams on social media. Some colleges of Mumbai University had even started their examinations in hybrid mode. The colleges had online examinations for some classes and offline for some.
