Maharashtra: Woman Kills Her Six Children By Throwing Them In A Well
Raigad, 31st May 2022: Fed up with her husband’s drinking habits, a woman jumped in a well after pushing her six children first. However, the woman survived while the children have died.
The woman is a resident of Dhalkathi village in Mahad taluka of Raigad district in Maharashtra. The woman, who was fed up with her husband’s drinking and harassment, took this extreme step around 8 pm yesterday. Five girls and a boy were pushed into the well first and then she too jumped.
Some people saw her and pulled her out of the well and brought her to the village. Although the woman survived, six children have died.
According to villagers, the family hails from outside and came to Dhalkathi to earn a living.
Mahad MIDC police are investigating the matter further.
