MahaRERA To Appoint Valuers To Check Projects In Pune

Pune, 11th November 2022: The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) will soon be appointing valuers to check and inspect the ongoing and delayed projects. These valuers will be allowed to make site visits after they are certified by the Income Tax Department or the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, thus making their reports verified.
The authority has issued a request for proposals for the appointment of valuers. They will be appointed first in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati, and Nagpur.
Other cities and districts would be valued by certified engineers with prior experience with government agencies, such as the state public works department (PWD) or the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA), among others.
