MUHS Introduces First Genetic Laboratory And Cancer Research Centre In Pune
Pune, 11th November 2022: The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) will be introducing its first genetic laboratory and cancer research centre in Pune. MUHS aims to make treatment and facilities accessible and affordable, especially for those with a lower economic background, with this centre.
The centre, MUHS GeneHealth, has been established on Ganeshkhind Road at the heritage structure of Gharpure bungalow.
It will include a wide range of laboratory tests that will analyse DNA, RNA, chromosomes, proteins, and specific metabolites using biochemical, cytogenetic, molecular, or a combination of these methods.
