Man Caught With 12 Live Cartridges In Bag At Pune Airport, Police Investigation On

Viman Nagar, 21st September 2021: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) today seized 12 live rounds of 0.32 caliber from a passenger at the Pune Airport. He was travelling to Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
According to Pune city police officials, the 45-year-old man runs a private security agency in Bhosari, Pimpri Chinchwad. During the security check, the cartridges were found in his bag. The CISF detained him and informed the Vimantal police station.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 4) Pankaj Deshmukh told PunekarNews.in, “He has claimed that cartridges were left in the bag inadvertently during packing. He has a licensed weapon. The man has been issued a notice and asked to submit his documents.”
