Many Passengers Injured In Accident On Pune-Bangalore Highway
Pune, 8th October 2022: While travelling from Satara to Pune on Mumbai Bangalore Highway No 48, a luxury traveller had a terrible accident near Sarola village due to a tyre burst. The incident took place near the Indian Petrol Pump in the Sarola village area around 7 am on Saturday (October 8).
A 70 Seater Luxury Bus was coming from Satara road and going towards Pune, the driver lost control of the vehicle and climbed the roadside divider resulting in the tyre bursting. Hence, the vehicle then crashed into a cargo truck of NTC Logistics Courier Company going from Pune to Bangalore. The cargo was on the opposite side of the road parked for refueling.
Many people have been seriously injured in this accident. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the accident.
At this time an ambulance was dispatched to the accident site and all the injured people at the scene were sent to the hospital for further treatment.
To avoid traffic congestion on the road, all the senior, and junior officers, employees and National Highway Patrol police personnel of Kikavi police station started the work of verifying the following legal matters by doing a survey.
