Massage Center In Dhanori Turns Into Prostitution Den; Pune Police Crackdown Unveils Shocking Reality
Dhanori, 7th July 2023: Pune Police’s Social Security Cell under the Crime Branch recently uncovered a prostitution ring operating within a massage centre known as Premium Unique Salon. A police raid was carried out at the massage centre located in Goodwill Square, Mahadev Nagar, Dhanori, Pune.
According to police, on Wednesday, three women who had been coerced into prostitution with promises of financial gain were rescued during the operation.
Ranjana Sanatoon Singhdevi (35), a resident of Dhanori, Pune, and originally from Assam, was arrested in connection with the case. An FIR has been lodged against her accomplices, Suresh Shahu and Pooja Pawar, under relevant sections the Indian Penal Code and Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
As part of the investigation, a total of five centres were raided, leading to the rescue of three female victims from the clutches of the prostitution racket. It was discovered that these women had been enticed into prostitution through the allure of financial benefits.
Further investigations into the matter are being conducted by Police Inspector S. Dhavale from Vishrantwadi Police Station.
