Massive Fire Breaks Out At Godown In Kasarwadi, No Casualties
Pimpri Chinchwad, 31st January 2023: A massive fire broke out at a godown containing old tyres and scrap materials in the Kasarwadi area of Pimpri Chinchwad. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
However, as there is a hospital nearby, 19 patients were immediately shifted to another hospital. Out of them, 12 were taken to PCMC’s YCM Hospital.
The incident took place at 2 am. The fire department managed to bring the fire under control around dawn. A total of 14 fire engines were rushed to the spot.
The fire was very severe. Max Neuro Hospital is located next to the site of the incident, and there was a possibility of the fire spreading. Hence, 19 patients in the hospital were shifted in time.
It is suspected that the fire was caused by a short circuit.
