MBBS Course Books To Be Launched In Marathi, Maharashtra Government Constitutes Seven-Member Panel

Mumbai, 24th November 2022: An official of the Maharashtra Medical Education and Research Department said that the Maharashtra government constituted a seven-member committee to prepare a roadmap for publishing Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course books in the Marathi language.
The Madhya Pradesh government has recently launched books for MBBS courses in Hindi.
A state Medical Education and Research Department official said that the seven-member panel constituted in Maharashtra is headed by Ajay Chandanwale, Joint Director of the Medical Education and Research Department.
A senior official of Medical Education and Research said that they spoke to the officials of Madhya Pradesh, which has published MBBS course books in Hindi. “Our next step is to hold the first meeting of the committee members in Maharashtra and discuss the road map for the publication of the syllabus in Marathi. The meeting is likely to be held in Mumbai next week,” the official explained.
