Pune: Mother Injured And Child Dead In Road Accident
Chinchwad, 24th November 2022: In Pimpri-Chinchwad, a schoolboy died in an accident. The deceased boy has been identified as Atharva Ravindra Aalne (11). Atharva’s mother, Harshada Aalne, was taking him to school on a scooter. At that time, a four-wheeler hit their scooty. Due to the impact, the boy was found directly under the cargo truck, resulting in him dying on the spot while the mother is injured.
According to the information given by the police, the deceased Atharva was studying in Class VI (B) at Pratibha International School in Chinchwad. This morning around 7.30, Harshada was going to drop Atharva off on a scooter to school.
The speeding scooty was hit by a four-wheeler at the corner of Shahu Nagar near the old RTO. Atharva from the scooty found himself under the cargo truck while Harshada fell on the other side. She is slightly injured. In this accident, Atharva died on the spot and was carried away by truck for a few feet.
The truck driver and four-wheeler driver have been detained by the MIDC police. Bhosari MIDC police are investigating the incident further.
