Indore, 18th March 2023: Since taking home the title of Bigg Boss 16, rapper MC Stan aka Altaf Shaikh has been dominating news headlines. Stan launched his all-India tour shortly after finishing the performance and had a successful run in several cities, including Hyderabad, Pune, and Mumbai.

His performance in Indore on Friday (March 17) ran into difficulty and was called off after Bajrang Dal members “hijacked” the stage. According to reports, right-wing extremists filed a complaint to have the ‘Basti Ka Hasti’ event in Indore cancelled an hour before it was scheduled to start.

However, people have voiced their support for MC Stan and condemned the conduct of the Bajrang Dal members in response to the concert’s cancellation on social media. Several people have also noted that this is not the first time the group has attacked performers and artists whose work they find to be “offensive”.
