Govt To Create 10 Lakh Jobs By Boosting Electronics Manufacturing To 24 Lakh Crores

New Delhi, 18th March 2023: On Friday (March 17), Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the Union Minister of State for Electronics and IT, stated that the Narendra Modi government aims to grow electronics manufacturing capacity to Rs 24 lakh crore by 2025–26, which will also assist to create over 10 lakh jobs.
He said, “Young Indians are heavily involved in more than 90,000 enterprises, including 110 unicorns. They did not become successful because of their connections or well-known last names. They succeeded because of their diligence and efforts.
In an interactive discussion with students, Chandrasekhar responded to their questions about entrepreneurship opportunities, the R&D and innovation ecosystem, and their recent visit with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates.
In response to a question regarding the Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) crisis and the Indian government’s role in easing the startup entrepreneurs’ problems, the minister stated that the nation’s banking system is significantly more resilient and robust than any other country’s banking system.
In light of this, he recommended that companies use Indian banks as their go-to banking partners.
