Mephedrone Worth Rs Two Lakh Seized In Khadak Area Of Pune
Khadak, 15th March 2023: A smuggler who came to sell mephedrone was arrested by Anti-Narcotics Squad Two in Khadak police station limits. MD worth Rs two lakh has been seized from him. The arrested person has been identified as Kanifnath Vishnu Naidu.
Police Naik Sahil Sheikh and Azim Sheikh had received information about the smuggler. He was then detained and 10 grams of MD worth Rs two lakh was seized from him.
Sunil Thopte, Senior Police Inspector, Anti-Narcotics Squad One, informed, “The Anti-Narcotics Squad has launched a campaign against the traffickers. Accordingly, the traffickers have been detained from Khadak and Wanwadi areas and drugs worth Rs 23 lakhs have been seized.”
Deputy Commissioner Amol Zende, ACP Narayan Shirgaonkar, Senior Inspector Sunil Thopte, Sub Inspector DL Chavan, Santosh Deshpande, Shelke, Sahil Sheikh, Azim Sheikh, Nitin Jagdale, Yuvraj Kamble carried out the operation.
