Pune, 26th May 2026: The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has temporarily postponed the flat distribution process scheduled for May 28 due to the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct for the Legislative Council (Local Authorities Constituency) elections announced by the Election Commission of India in the district.

According to officials, the distribution process for flats was earlier scheduled to be held at 2.30 pm on May 28 under the Pune Housing and Area Development Board functioning under MHADA.

The process pertained to the allotment of unsold flats under the 20 per cent Inclusive Housing Scheme and the 15 per cent Social Housing Scheme in Pune Municipal Corporation, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and PMRDA areas.

MHADA officials said a revised schedule for the allotment process under the “First Come, First Served” policy will be announced shortly.
