Pune, 24th August 2026: The Pune Board of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has announced a lottery for the sale of 4,462 homes in Pune under the 15 per cent Social Housing Scheme and 20 per cent Inclusive Housing Scheme.

The lottery will be held on October 13, while registration and the sale and acceptance of applications will begin at noon on Monday. Applicants can also start submitting forms along with the required earnest money deposit from noon.

Of the 4,462 homes, 1,491 have been made available to the Pune Board under the 15 per cent Social Housing Scheme, while 2,971 homes are from the 20 per cent Inclusive Housing Scheme.

The lottery is also being seen as the last opportunity for homebuyers to purchase affordable homes in projects developed by private developers through MHADA. The 20 per cent housing scheme has since been withdrawn from MHADA, and the homes that had become available to the Pune Board before the decision took effect have been included in this lottery. Going forward, houses under the 20 per cent scheme will be allotted through municipal corporations.

Applicants submitting the earnest money online will have until 11.59 pm on September 15. Those paying the deposit through RTGS or NEFT can submit their applications until September 16.

After scrutiny of the applications, a draft list of applicants will be published at 7 pm on September 29. The final list will be released at 7 pm on October 8.

The lottery for the 4,462 homes will be held at 11 am on October 13.

Details of the locations, prices and other information regarding the homes will be available on MHADA’s official website from 3 pm on Monday.
