MHADA To Release 4744 New Houses For Lottery System In Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Kolhapur And Solapur

Pune, 3rd June 2022: The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) provides residents of Maharashtra an affordable residential property through different schemes. This schemes offers low-cost houses via a lottery system. The winning applicants are segregated based on their income. Such online lottery will be held for 4744 houses in Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, Solapur and Kolhapur in Pune division.

The Pune division of MHADA will announce the release of 4744 houses online. An advertisement for the lucky draw will be announced in the next few days, after which the interested citizens will be able to fill up the application.

This is the fourth eviction by MHADA Pune division in the last two years and the first of this year. “After publishing the advertisement, the process of filling the application form for the houses will be started. After the publication of the advertisement, the applicants will get a time of one month to fill the form,” said Nitin Mane Patil, Chief Officer, MHADA Pune Division.

Out of 4744 houses announced by MHADA, 2092 houses will be available under the 20% comprehensive housing scheme. The remaining 2685 houses will be available for all other groups. Under the comprehensive housing scheme areas like Yerwada, Kasba Peth, Mohammadwadi, Keshavnagar, Baner, Wagholi, Fursungi, Lohgaon, Pashan, Kharadi, Wakad, Thergaon, Mundhwa, Wadhmukhwadi, Punawale, Mamurdi, Tathawade will have houses for the lottery in which there are 2092 houses available.

“The houses under the 20 percent scheme are boarded in buildings developed by private builders. They range in size from 30 to 60 square meters (320 to 430 square feet). These are available for very small groups,” Mane added further.
