MindSpark’25: Bridging Innovation and Imagination with The Quantum Nexus
Pune, 1st October 2025: MindSpark’25, the flagship technical festival of COEP Technological University, is set to launch its highly anticipated 19th edition from October 3. Since its inception in 2007, MindSpark has established itself as one of India’s premier technical festivals, providing a coveted platform for emerging talents to showcase their skills and pioneer innovative ideas that will shape the future.
This year, MindSpark explores new frontiers with the theme “The Quantum Nexus”, inviting participants to delve into the intersection of cutting-edge technology, theoretical physics, and boundless creativity. The three-day festival, running from October 3 to 5, will feature a variety of events, workshops, a Tech-Expo, and much more.
According to Technical Secretary Anish Shetty, MindSpark’25 is envisioned as a platform promoting inclusive innovation and hands-on learning. This edition will host over 40 events, including flagship attractions such as the 24-hour Hackathon, Robotica, Tech-Expo, and Auto-Expo. The festival draws more than 30,000 participants each year, reflecting the enthusiasm and passion of the student community.
Faculty Advisor Dr. Radhika D. Joshi highlighted that MindSpark enables students to gain knowledge beyond the regular curriculum, enhancing their personalities and preparing them to contribute meaningfully to national progress. Dr. M. P. Khond, Director of the Board of Students’ Development, called the festival a unique platform for honing technical and managerial skills. Dr. D. N. Sonawane, Registrar of COEP Technological University, emphasized that MindSpark fosters discipline, collaboration, and organizational excellence, shaping students into responsible professionals. Prof. Sunil Bhirud, Vice-Chancellor of COEP Technological University, extended his best wishes, describing MindSpark as a catalyst for innovation, knowledge exchange, and excellence.
