Pune, 21st October 2022: Today (October 21) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan addressed buisness leaders at Pune. The session was about, ‘Investment Opportunities In Madhya Pradesh’.
CM Chauhan talked about the development of Madhya Pradesh along with the opportunities that are being created in the state.
CM Chauhan said, “The growth rate of agriculture in Madhya Pradesh is more than 18 percent since the last 10 years. Our wheat, rice and pulses are making a huge impact in the world. We have also left Punjab behind in the production
of wheat. The irrigated area in Madhya Pradesh was 7.5 lakh hectares. We increased that to 45 lakh hectares. In the next three years, the irrigated area will be taken up to 65 lakh hectares.”
He added, “We have four centers of focus: Infrastructure, Health, Good Governance and Economy along with Employment. We have a land bank of 1 lakh 22 thousand acres. We will provide the land to the investors within a month.”
Talking about investments, he said, “I have come to request you investor friends to visit Madhya Pradesh. If you face any kind of problem, I am available to solve it. I have scheduled to meet entrepreneurs every Monday. A very warm welcome to all of you investor friends in Madhya Pradesh. You can also attend the Global Investors Summit. If you want to come before that, you are most welcome.”
He further said that in Madhya Pradesh, they have laid a network of dams and have also kept water reserves for industries. They also work to provide cheap electricity for different industries.
“Madhya Pradesh is the island of peace! The dacoits have been eliminated, the Naxalites have been eliminated, the SIMI network has been demolished. There is no hooliganism in Madhya Pradesh, said CM Chauhan.
